Shawnette Heard and Jussie Smollett Join Forces
Cutiepie singer Jussie Smollett, is about to shoot the video for his first official single "The Storm" from his debut album "The Poisoned Hearts Club". I first introduced you to Jussie with an exclusive interview when he was promoting his video for his song "Get Em Up". As you should know by now, Jussie is a rare talent! He has a unique style, which he describes as "Kanye had sex with Katy Perry while listening to the King of Pop" (and I concur). With a sound like his, who better to compliment such a style, than the amazingly talented Shawnette Heard?
Shawnette Heard is best known as one of the most popular members of "The Kids" (aka dancers) on several of Janet Jackson's tours. She then moved up to Choreographer and Creative Director on Janet's "All For You" tour. Aside from Janet, Shawnette has also been a featured dancer in Michael Jackson and Madonna videos. Having achieved her dreams of being a dancer and choreographer for the top artists in music, Shawnette has since branched out into the world of directing!
With several music videos under her belt and her first short film entitled "John Doe", Shawnette is now lending her creative eye and expertise to Jussie Smollett. If that's not enough, Dancer/Choreographer Extraodinaire Manwe Sauls Addison will be choreographing this project. Manwe has been seen on stage and on screen with many of today's top entertainers, including Beyonce, The Black Eyed Peas and most recently Lady Gaga.
This is such an amazing team! "Dream team" is an understatement! I'm looking forward to seeing what these creative minds come up with, and I'm excited to witness the journey of so many careers sure to flourish.
