Zac Efron Holds Hands With Boys…And?

Apparently the National Enquirer hasn't stepped into this century if boys holding hands is a shocker to them! Their recent headline "Zac Efron caught holding hands...with a guy" seems to imply that Zac was caught in some kind of shameful act. First of all, you can only be "caught" if you're sneaking (or running)...and according to the article, he was pretty open, comfortable and into his male friend.

Newsflash! Just because someone doesnt scream that theyre gay from the roof tops, doesnt mean that theyre in the closet. Maybe theyre just minding their own business. I've never seen a straight person run around telling everyone that theyre straight...so why should a gay person run around telling everyone that theyre gay? Its really nobody's business whether a person is gay or straight unless theyre interested in pursuing a relationship with that person.

Second of all, why are we surprised? Honestly, I'd have been MORE surprised if Zac's pretty azz was "caught" holding hands with a girl! I never believed the relationship with Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to be real. I have always smelled Publicity stunt pie ala beard when it comes to them.

The Enquirer article went on to say that people were wondering if the "23 year old High School Musical Hunk" was trying to make Vanessa jealous by holding hands with the guy. People are still dumb I see. Most likely if Zac is in fact gay, Vanessa knows by now and has known long before he was "caught" holding hands with a dude. If Zac is that open NOW, he has probably been pretty open for a while. Vanessa didn't show any hint of jealousy, nor did she look like she cared at all. She hung out for a while and went on about her business.

An eye witness claims that "it was bizarre". Bizarre for who? Im not really getting the shock value of this story. There is nothing surprising to me about the alleged gayness of Zac Efron. If this story is in fact true, I commend Zac for being open about it and not giving a crap what people say. I also commend him for not "coming out" but instead just "being out". Nobody should have to do a BIG REVEAL on their sexuality!

Considering the source of this story, it could possibly be fabricated or blown way out of proportion, but if you're interested in reading the full story, see the National Enquirer clipping below.
